This project arises from the need to think about the pre-Columbian memory of Mexico and its parallels with contemporary Mexico, which still merge or collide as images from a past that we consider to be glorious. What are we doing with this memory? Have we changed or are we repeating ourselves?
The project is based on the apropiation of various colonial and pre-Columbian icons and documents, in order to rethink the discourse of contemporary Mexico.
